In Case You Missed It: the NY Times comments on Bon Appetit

Just last week, the NY Times called Bon Appetit (Duke’s contracted food provider–they serve the food at the Devil’s Bistro, the Marketplace, and the Great Hall) the “most principled food provider in the country.”

Bon Appetit is working with the United Farm Workers union to develop verifiable and enforceable standards for farm labor practices across the country (not to mention Bon Appetit commitment to supporting the local economy by purchasing from local farmers, and their dedication to sound environmental practices).

Bon Appetit at Duke is a big victory for progressive politics on campus.
